Presentation: Federated Identity Services - Single sign-on to external web services using organizational credentials With Matthew Economou

We will be talking about trust federation in general and about his team's implementation in particular, using Active Directory Federation Services (AD FS) and the Security Assertion Markup Language (SAML). With this presentation, We aim to answer the following questions:

How would one safely enable access to third-party web applications using an organization's own authentication database?
How do federated identities work?
How might one deploy a federated identity service?

This is a fairly technical presentation and will include a demo if time permits.
